2019 Blessing of Backpacks and Educators

Gather with us on Sunday, July 28 at 8:15 or 10 a.m. worship for a Blessing of Backpacks and Educators as they prepare for a new school year.

• Students – young and old, preschool to college – bring your backpack or bookbag and place it around the altar before worship for a blessing during worship.  After worship we have a gift for you to put on your backpack.
• Educators – teachers, administrators and support staff – will also receive a blessing during worship.
• Everyone (including congregation) is invited to wear their school’s spiritwear.
