Thursday, May 9, 7 p.m.: On the 40th day of Easter, the church commemorates the ascension of Jesus (Acts 1:3-11). Our celebration on this day includes recognition of 2024 high school graduates during worship followed by a reception of appetizers and dessert.

Thursday, April 4, 10 a.m. – noon: Help create floral arrangements at Random Acts of Flowers (1057 E 54th St, Indianapolis) with lunch to follow. There are 10 available volunteer spots. Carpool meets at 9:15 a.m. in Resurrection’s parking lot. Contact Katie Finnie to participate.
Resurrection is offering an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED training course in April. This is a blended learning course with participants completing an online class (at your own pace) prior to one in-person skill session at Resurrection on Thursday, April 4. Email Victoria for more information and to sign-up by Thursday, March 21.
Sign up children ages three (must be potty-trained) through fourth grade to explore the underwater adventure of Scuba Vacation Bible School at Resurrection Lutheran Church, Sunday, June 2 – Thursday, June 6! Dive into friendship each night starting with dinner at 5:30 p.m., followed by Bible stories, songs, games, crafts, and more from 6-8 p.m.
Thursday, March 28, 7 p.m. worship: Taking its name from the Latin word for “commandment”, Maundy Thursday focuses on Jesus’ command that we love one another and on his gift of Holy Communion.
Friday, March 29, 7 p.m. worship: On Good Friday, our focus shifts to the cross as we remember Jesus’ death – and also his victory over sin and death. The nursery will also be available (not staffed) for those with children.
Saturday, March 30: Enhance your celebration of the Resurrection by participating in the ancient tradition of the Easter Vigil. We’ll gather in darkness at 8:30 p.m. to light a new fire, hear of God’s saving acts throughout history, and renew our baptisms.
There is no better way for us to celebrate the gift of new life than by being together! Worship with Resurrection on Easter Sunday, March 31 at 8:15 or 10:45 a.m. and enjoy our Easter Breakfast from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall.
