Our next Inquirers Class begins Sunday, Oct. 6 in Room 10 and runs five weeks through Sunday, Nov. 3 during the Learning Hour from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. This class is for both members and newcomers to Resurrection. It’s the perfect place for you to bring your questions, curiosity and to meet new people.
During this adult learning session in the Luther Room on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 9:30 a.m., consider the church as an imperfect family. Includes video with Pastor Bruce Reyes-Chow and group discussion.
RLC’s Friday free Community Meals ministry will celebrate five years of continuous service on Friday, Oct. 4! Gather to recognize this special occasion with our volunteers and guests. Enjoy plenty of food and a special cake to recognize the occasion! Meal service will be from 5:30 – 7 p.m.
Donations in October will be given to IPS Eleanor Skillen School #34 food pantry. The school helps 25 families once a month with a box of food. Please donate and drop off suggested items in RLC’s Breadbox outside of Resurrection Hall.
Join Pastor Ryan for our Fall Bible Study, The Bible in History: How the Texts Have Shaped the Times, where we will explore how various parts of scripture have shaped movements and moments in history. Gather at RLC in Resurrection Hall on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. from Sept. 30 through Nov. 18.
Sept. 29 is Confirmation Sunday! This year’s five confirmands will share faith stories in Resurrection Hall during the Learning Hour at 9:30 a.m. and will participate in the rite of affirmation of baptism during the 10:45 a.m. worship service. A cake reception will follow.
In the tradition of Martin Luther, Table Talk is an informal gathering for fellowship and conversation. In September, Table Talk meets at Mashcaft (1140 SR135, Greenwood) on Monday, Sept. 9 and Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m.

The RLC Kids Club and Youngest Friends Club are hosting a picnic for kids of all ages from birth through 5th grade on Sunday, Sept. 15 from 12-2 p.m. Pack a lunch for your family and after we’re done eating together, we’ll play some fun games outside.
