Food Insecurity: Our Role as a Christian Community

Sunday, Oct. 25, 9:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall: Since 2014, Resurrection Lutheran Church and Second Helpings of Indianapolis have partnered to provide meals to south-side neighbors experiencing food insecurity. For the past 12 years, RLC’s Friday Community Meals ministry has served more than 25,000 meals. Our guest speaker, Adriane Rios, Director of Partner Relations for Second Helpings, shares the impact of this work, and our Community Meals volunteers share what it means to serve our guests.
