Contact Victoria Hoppes by Sunday, Feb. 15 to register a child for this three-part communion instruction class on Sundays from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Feb. 22, March 1, and March 8. This class is open to children ready to gain a deeper understanding of the sacrament of Holy Communion.
Meets monthly, second Thursday, 6 p.m. in Room 9: Moms of all ages, come meet and build relationships with other RLC parents and explore and learn about different parenting topics and books! Refreshments provided. We meet monthly from September through April.
Epiphany is Tuesday, Jan. 6, and a common Epiphany tradition is to “chalk the door” and bless a living space at the start of a new year. Pick up an Epiphany home blessing kit in the church narthex on Sundays Dec. 28 and Jan. 4. Kits include a brief liturgical blessing and a piece of chalk.
Sunday, Dec. 21, 5:15-7:45 p.m. Youth in grades 6-12, come for our FaithBuilders & Youth Group Christmas party at Resurrection! Wear your favorite Christmas pajamas and bring a wrapped gift ($10 or less) for a gift exchange. Sign up if you’d like to contribute finger food for dinner or toppings for a hot cocoa bar.
Sunday, Dec. 14, 2 p.m. All kids in kindergarten through fifth grade and their families, come celebrate at uPaint Pottery Studio (3113 W Smith Valley Rd D, Greenwood)! Paint festive ornaments, enjoy sweet treats, and make holiday memories together. Please RSVP so we can prepare for the fun!
Register your household by Monday, Nov. 24 to guarantee a devotional and supplies to create your own Advent wreath. Choose either to pick up supplies and assemble your wreath on Sunday, Nov. 30 during the 9:30 a.m. learning hour or to receive a kit to complete all activities at home.
Resurrection’s annual Trunk or Treat is Sunday, Oct. 26 from 3-5 p.m. No sign-up required to attend event. Help us prepare: donate bags of treats in the church narthex collection box and sign-up online to decorate a trunk.
Saturday, Nov. 1, 10 a.m. at Resurrection: Infants through preschoolers are invited for a fall morning of fun with RLC’s Youngest Friends Club! We’ll enjoy pumpkin painting, snacks, and games together. Please RSVP to ensure we have plenty of supplies for everyone!
As we begin a new program year, please help us update your child or youth’s information and release forms for the 2025-26 school year. Please complete one form per child/youth participating in nursery, children’s ministry, or youth ministry activities during the school year.
Sunday, Aug. 24, 5:30-7 p.m. Youth in grades 6-12 and their families are invited to come reconnect with a pitch-in at Resurrection as we kick off FaithBuilders and Youth Group and learn about what’s in store this year. RLC is providing a hotdog bar and drinks; sign up to bring a side dish or dessert.
