Register now for Resurrection’s congregation-wide retreat at Lutheran Hills, Friday, Sep. 9 to Saturday, Sep. 10. Come pray, worship, play, and reconnect with nature and one another. Register by Monday, Aug. 1 to lock-in early bird rates. Housing assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis, so register early.
The O.W.L.s (Older Wiser Lutherans) will meet at Resurrection at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 18 and carpool to White Diamond Lavender Farm (9415 800 N, Hope, IN) to enjoy the Lavender Daze Festival followed by lunch at Willow Leaves of Hope restaurant (326 Jackson St., Hope, IN). Starting Sunday, June 12, Resurrection transitions to a summer worship schedule for June, July and August with one worship service at 10 a.m. A livestream will be available via rlcindy.org/live or facebook.com/rlcindy.
Help make Monumental Vacation Bible School a success by helping us purchase snacks and other supplies. Take donation tags from the bulletin board in the church hallway or purchase items from our Amazon wish list. Unless otherwise noted, items should be dropped off at Resurrection by Wednesday, June 1.
All kids (birth-5th grade) and their families are invited for an afternoon of fellowship and water play at City Center Park (415 Lincoln St. Greenwood) on Sunday, Aug. 22 from noon-2 p.m. Sign-up online, and bring a picnic lunch and beach towel.
All students in grades 9-12 and their families are invited to learn about the trip in a Zoom info session on Tuesday, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. Adults interested in serving as mentors are also encouraged to attend. We will learn about the Gathering and share initial plans for the trip.
