Noisy Offering Benefitting Youth Group Puerto Rico Service Trip

Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 3, Resurrection is collecting a noisy offering at both the 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. worship services! The noisy offering gets its name from the “noisy” collection of coins and spare change.

Noisy offerings just like this one are collected throughout the country at many churches for various purposes.  Here are Resurrection, our noisy offering often coincides with Super Bowl Sunday and the proceeds from prior years have benefitted our hunger ministries.

This year, the noisy offering will help our Youth Group cover the costs of meals on their summer Puerto Rico service trip.  So let’s dig out our change and make a joyful noise to the Lord in celebration of our youth.  (And that green paper money will also be accepted!)
