In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus told his followers that they were the “salt of the earth” and the “light of the world.” To be salt and light means to put our faith into action. We do this whenever we help address the hurts and hopes in peoples’ lives by helping them to catch a glimpse of God’s love.
It is our desire at Resurrection to help every person who comes through our doors to better understand their vocation – their calling from God – and how God has already SHAPEd them to fulfill that vocation in the various venues life. It is by understanding how God has SHAPEd us through spiritual gifts, heart/passion, abilities, personality, and experiences that we begin to understand just how we can be salt and light in the world.
Hunger Ministries
We serve many in our community and world who struggle with food insecurity and hunger.
Community Outreach
RLC offers a variety of opportunities for service in the local and world community.
Care & Support
Through numerous ministries, we are able to provide support to RLC Disciples in a way that also prepares us to provide such care for those outside of the church’s walls.
Worship & Music Ministries
Various opportunities are available for those with gifts and talents suited for leading worship.
Administration & Operations
Administration & Operations ministry teams work closely with pastoral and other staff to be the primary initiators and managers of mission activities and responsibilities.
