Learning Hour

Learning Hour is Resurrection’s version of Sunday School. Opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship are available for all ages on Sundays from 9:30-10:30 a.m. (September through May).

A nursery for our littlest ones (0-4), is staffed throughout the entire Sunday morning, including the Learning Hour.

RLC Kids (Ages 3-5th grade)

Children gather for song and a large group activity, followed by grade-based learning time. Lessons include Bible stories, crafts, games, and other age-appropriate activities.

Youth and adult teachers and teaching assistants provide safe, caring learning environments for kids. Contact our Director of Youth & Children’s Ministries for more information on opportunities to serve.

RLC Youth (Grades 6-12)

Middle and high school youth gather with an adult faith mentor to learn and discuss Christian life, fellowship with one another, and participate in service projects.

Adult faith mentors provide safe, caring learning environments for middle and high school youth. Contact our Director of Youth & Children’s Ministries for more information on opportunities to serve.

Adults

Adult Discipleship Hour

We strive to have multiple choices, usually including a conversation/Bible study based on the appointed scripture passages for the day. Other options include topical classes on current events or formation series that focus on faith practices.

Fellowship

Some of our adults also occasionally take time off from the above offerings to use the Learning Hour to gather in Koinonia Café, just off the narthex, in order to engage in caring conversation and fellowship. Often faith talk cards are available to guide this other means of the Spirit’s life-long guiding to spiritual growth and maturity.
