All of RLC’s Disciples are ministers within the church. We have different spiritual gifts and talents, yet we come together to provide an environment for a vibrant and caring church community. Administration & Operations ministry teams work closely with pastoral and other staff to be the primary initiators and managers of mission activities and responsibilities. Examples of such ministries include:
Audit Team
Conducts an annual internal audit of our financial accounts and provides a report to the Finance Team and Congregation Council.

Congregation Council
The Congregation Council is charged with general oversight of the life and activities of the congregation. Their role is to serve as the congregation’s board of directors, flying at a high altitude in order to see the lay of the land and discern God’s direction for the congregation. They are responsible for strategic planning and making sure all that we do is in keeping with our Holy Purpose and Core Values.
The Congregation Council is comprised of eight members of the congregation who are elected at the winter semi-annual meeting to three-year terms, which may be renewed once. The pastors under full-time call to the congregation are also members of the Council. The congregation officers – elected at the January semi-annual meeting to one-year terms – serve as the officers of the Council.

Endowment Team
Oversees the investment of funds in the Mission Endowment Fund and determines how much is available each year for distribution.

Finance Team and Counters
The Finance Team meets monthly to monitor the financial activity of the congregation and advise the Congregation Council. Finance Counters count the Sunday offering and prepare and delivers the bank deposit.

Ministry Development Team
The Ministry Development team provides guidance for ministry leaders in applying Resurrection’s Holy Purpose and Core Values.
Personnel Team
Provides guidance to the Congregation Council regarding personnel policies and practices.
