Vibrant, Liturgical Worship
Sundays at 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
Discipleship classes for all ages at 9:30 a.m.
The Sunday assembly is at the core of our life in Christ. At any given Resurrection service, you’ll find a lively community of women, men, children and youth for whom worship matters. It matters because in our worship we both give and receive the deep love of God for the world.
In our worship, the crucified and risen Christ is present in word powerfully proclaimed and sacraments joyfully celebrated. Lives are changed. Sins are forgiven. Strangers are welcomed. The alienated are received into community. Unbelief gives way to faith. The form and style of worship may vary, but what remains constant for us is the promise of God’s action, the free gift of God’s grace, and our grateful response.
We invite you to experience that gracious welcome of God in our worship life together at Resurrection.
You will find that Resurrection people come to worship dressed from the very casual in blue jeans or shorts, to work uniforms, to business casual and even the pretty formal. However you prefer to dress, we trust you will be welcomed and sense that you fit in just fine, because you are welcomed by the Lord who welcomes us all.
Children in Worship
Resurrection is a very kid-friendly community and we strongly encourage the “sticky faith” practice of families worshiping together. However, we realize that younger children may become restless. We provide a safe, secure, and fun nursery for children ages 0 -4 years, open and staffed throughout Sunday morning, including both worship services and the Discipleship Hour in-between.
Sunday Discipleship Hour
We offer opportunities for spiritual growth every Sunday between the two worship services. There are aged-based classes for kids age 3 through high school and Bible study and/or topical conversations for adults.
We Welcome You
Speaking of welcome, we are glad to invite you to worship with us. We’re confident you’ll find something relevant, meaningful and even transformational here at Resurrection. Whether you’re a “traditional Lutheran,” a new Christian, or a thirsty soul with lots of questions, there is a place for you here. As we gather together and encounter a gracious God we trust you’ll hear, pray, sing or share something and discover the joy we share that worship matters.
