Children’s Ministries

If you have questions about any of these programs, please contact our Director of Youth & Children’s Ministries.

Youngest Friends Club (birth through pre-K)

This group of children and parents meet quarterly for fellowship through simple age-appropriate activities. Past activities have included picnicking at the park, riding big-wheels, creating crafts, and cookie painting. Our goal is for our parents (and kids) to develop relationships with peers and faith mentors that will continue as your child grows.

Kids Club (grades K-5)

RLC Kids Club group of kids gathered in front of rock climbing wall

This group for elementary youth meets one Sunday a month for fellowship through field trip outings. Past field trips have included swimming at Indy Island, bowling, roller skating, and an apple orchard. Our goal is for our kids to develop relationships with peers and faith mentors that will continue through the middle and high school years. Parents are welcome and encouraged to join us on Kids Club outings – to deepen their family relationship and get to know other children and families in their child’s age group.

Lifelong Faith Formation

At Resurrection, we want to partner with households support lifelong faith formation in the home. Children and their families are invited to learn faith practices through various opportunities, beginning with a child’s Baptism. Other opportunities include My Bible (for emerging readers ready to read from their own Bible) and Communion Instruction (for children preparing to take First Communion.)

Vacation Bible School

We offer a week long Vacation Bible School program in early June.
