Living as Faithful Lutheran Citizens in a Time of Christian Nationalism

Sundays Feb. 1 – 15, 9:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall: In February, this timely and challenging series examines Christian nationalism and its influence on state and federal government, while preparing us as a congregation, and as Lutheran citizens, with knowledge and potential actions for this season of our lives together.

Our guest leader will be the Rev. Dr. Steven Ivy. Steve is retired after a career as a hospital chaplain, chaplain administrator, and theological seminary professor. His last full-time ministry was with IU Health as Senior Vice President for Values and Pastoral Services. He is an active member of First Baptist Church of Indianapolis. He is also one of the founding members of Religious Freedom Indiana, an affiliate of Christians Against Christian Nationalism (rfindiana.org).
