Welcome Kathy VanOsdol, RLC’s New Associate Pastor!

Help us welcome Resurrection’s new Associate Pastor, Kathy VanOsdol! Pastor Kathy’s first Sunday with us is June 4, and she will be preaching on Sunday, June 11! Please come and get to know Pastor Kathy and help make her feel welcome.

About Pastor Kathy

Pastor Kathy was born in Texas but after living in Indiana for over thirty years considers herself a Hoosier. She retired from a 30-year career as a Speech-Language Pathologist where she worked in a variety of medical and educational settings. Pastor Kathy met her husband, Tom, in graduate school at Ball State University, and they have been married for 32 years.

Tom and Kathy have two grown children; Hope, who lives in Jacksonville, Florida and is a director of a non-for profit, and Matthew, who lives in Broad Ripple and is a free-lance audio engineer.

Kathy and Tom relocated to Jacksonville, Florida in 2016 where Tom accepted a new position with Ascension Healthcare. It was during this time that Kathy answered God’s call to Word and Sacrament. She graduated from Luther Seminary in August of 2022 and entered into the first call process.

In her free time, Kathy enjoys walking, riding her bike, reading, and quilting. Her greatest joy is spending time with family and friends.
