Rebuilding Lives: Afghan American Community Center

Sunday, Nov. 5, 9:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall: The Afghan American Community Center of Indianapolis, established in 2022 with the help of a grant from Resurrection’s Mission Endowment Fund, exists to empower and support Afghan refugees, many of whom arrived in Indiana via Camp Atterbury following the American withdrawal from their home country. Najia Sherzad Hoshmand, the organization’s CEO and president, introduces us to their important work.
