Resurrection’s Weekender Backpack Ministry is collecting 16-28 oz. plastic jars of peanut butter to send home with students over fall break. Drop off peanut butter in the Breadbox, in the church narthex, or ship directly to Resurrection
Help fill the shelves in the Resurrection Breadbox to support Hunger, Inc., a nearby pantry serving Perry Township and Beech Grove. Donations of elbow macaroni, spaghetti, and white long-grain rice are always needed for Second Helpings.
Resurrection’s next volunteer adventure with Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity is Saturday, Sep. 23 at 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Second Presbyterian Church (7700 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis). We are cutting and nailing together wall panels for Interfaith Build homes. Participants must register online.

As a part of VBS, we collected school supplies for students at Douglas MacArthur Kindergarten Academy (DMKA). Help us fill backpacks with these supplies on Sunday, July 9 immediately following worship. Help us color 300 backpack tags to give to students by picking up a kit of tags to color and return to Resurrection by Sunday, July 16.
Thursday, April 13, 10 a.m. – noon: Help make floral arrangements for Eskenazi Hospital patients at Random Acts of Flowers with lunch to follow. Carpool meets at 9 a.m. in Resurrection’s parking lot. Contact Katie Finnie to participate.
