You’re invited to the Third Annual Cultural Fair at Douglas MacArthur Kindergarten Academy (DMKA) on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 6-7:30 p.m. It’s a celebration of the diverse cultures represented at the Kindergarten Academy and our Perry Township community.
Gather with Resurrection people for community fun, food and fellowship with our Fall Fest on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 4 – 7 p.m. Everything starts with RLC’s annual Trunk or Treat but don’t miss fun fall activities, contests and a tasty pitch-in meal!
Donations in October will be given to IPS Eleanor Skillen School #34 food pantry. The school helps 25 families once a month with a box of food. Please donate and drop off suggested items in RLC’s Breadbox outside of Resurrection Hall.
In the tradition of Martin Luther, Table Talk is an informal gathering for fellowship and conversation. In September, Table Talk meets at Mashcaft (1140 SR135, Greenwood) on Monday, Sept. 9 and Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m.
Resurrection’s monthly Men’s Breakfast and Bible study meets from 7:30 – 9 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month, September through May. Breakfast is served at 7:30 a.m. with Bible study starting at 8 a.m.
Donations to the Food Pantry Ministry in September will be given to Hunger Inc. in Perry Township. Hunger Inc. is open three times a week and helps individuals and families who are food challenged in Perry township and Beech Grove.
Join us for new Table Talk on Tuesday, Aug. 13 and Monday, Aug. 26 at Mashcaft (1140 SR135, Greenwood). Table Talk is a gathering of people for fellowship and conversation about the Bible or similar topics.
Take a trip with Resurrection’s OWLs (Older Wiser Lutherans) as they visit the Martinsville Candy Kitchen (46 N Main St, Martinsville, IN) on Wednesday, Aug. 21. The OWLs will meet at Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. to carpool to Martinsville.
Food donations in August will be given to Emmaus Lutheran Church in Fountain Square. They serve the families in the area southeast of Fountain Square.
Don’t miss Resurrection’s Congregation Picnic on Sunday, July 28 at 11:15 a.m. at Westside Park, 820 West Main Street, Greenwood, IN. This is a great opportunity to connect with new people and learn about those you worship with on Sunday.
