Resurrection’s Breadbox needs your donations to help restock the shelves and support the Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County. Donations of elbow macaroni, spaghetti, and white long-grain rice are always needed for Second Helpings.
Help provide refreshments between Sunday worship services or help with set-up or clean-up. Sign up online for the Sunday(s) you would like to help with. Clean-up is simple and does not involve the coffee clean-up – it just involves removing leftover refreshment items.
Resurrection’s Weekender Backpack Ministry is collecting 16-28 oz. plastic jars of peanut butter to send home with students over fall break. Drop off peanut butter in the Breadbox, in the church narthex, or ship directly to Resurrection
Thursday, May 18, 7 p.m. On the 40th day of Easter, the church commemorates the ascension of Jesus (Acts 1:3-11). Our celebration on this day includes recognition of 2023 high school graduates during worship followed by a reception of appetizers and dessert. Resurrection is looking to add to our list of volunteers to help with post-funeral meals. This is an important ministry that occurs a few times a year with very little notice. Sign-up to be a part of this ministry by Sunday, Aug. 15.

RLC celebrates Thanksgiving Eve with our annual Pie Feast – in 2020 drive-thru style – on Wednesday, Nov. 25 from 6-7 p.m. in RLC’s parking lot. To provide a pre-sliced pie for the event, please complete the sign-up form and drop pies off at RLC by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24.
