Resurrection is a polling location on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5. We are providing hospitality and refreshment for voters and poll workers with coffee, tea, and cookies. To help, please drop off labeled cookies and bars in the church kitchen by Monday, Nov. 4 or contact the church office.
Resurrection Lutheran Church celebrates 60 years with an anniversary celebration on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. RSVP by Tuesday, Oct. 1 and sign up to stay after the celebration and help with clean-up from 8:30-9:30 p.m.
Resurrection’s Breadbox needs your donations to help restock the shelves and support the Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County. Donations of elbow macaroni, spaghetti, and white long-grain rice are always needed for Second Helpings.
Join Weekender Backpack Ministry in the fight against hunger by packing bags of easy-to-prepare food on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in rooms 5 and 6! Our next packing date is Wednesday, Oct. 23.
Come sing or ring with Resurrection’s music groups! Weekly Wednesday evening rehearsals begin Sep. 11: Children’s Choirs from 5-5:30 p.m.; Grace Notes Bell Choir from 6-7 p.m.; Sanctuary Choir from 7-8:15 p.m.
Help provide refreshments between Sunday worship services or help with set-up or clean-up. Sign up online for the Sunday(s) you would like to help with. Clean-up is simple and does not involve the coffee clean-up – it just involves removing leftover refreshment items.
Help us grow RLC Kids! We’ve seen increased attendance during Learning Hour in the last year, and we’re in need of additional teachers and mentors for our children’s ministry. We’re specifically looking for adults to co-teach and/or occasionally serve as substitute teachers during the 2024-2025 program year.
