This year, RLC will provide space at the Greenwood Pride Festival on Saturday, June 6, 12-6 p.m. where people experience an intentional place to belong. Discover ways you can help share RLC’s welcome and hospitality with our local community.
The Quiltmakers group meets twice monthly in Resurrection Hall: first Monday, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. and third Tuesday, 6:30—8 p.m. Everyone is welcome, from middle-school to older and wiser, any and all genders! Our next gatherings are Monday, May 4 (11:30 a.m.) and Tuesday, May 19 (6:30 p.m.).
Resurrection’s Breadbox needs your donations this May to help refill the shelves and support Hunger, Inc., a nearby pantry serving Perry Township and Beech Grove. Donations of elbow macaroni, spaghetti, and white long-grain rice are always needed for Second Helpings.
Join Weekender Backpack Ministry in the fight against hunger by packing bags of easy-to-prepare food on scheduled dates at 6 p.m. in rooms 5 and 6 at Resurrection Lutheran Church.
Resurrection’s Knit/Crochet Group gathers one Saturday each month from 10 a.m. – noon at Resurrection. Anyone is welcome. See scheduled monthly meeting dates.
Help provide refreshments between Sunday worship services or help with set-up or clean-up. Sign up online for the Sunday(s) you would like to help with. Clean-up is simple and does not involve the coffee clean-up – it just involves removing leftover refreshment items.
Vacation Bible School is our biggest children’s ministry event of the year, and it’s only possible with the help of volunteers. There are ways to help before, during, and after VBS. Discover available opportunities, and sign up for more information.
During the season of Lent, gather with Resurrection for the much-loved Holden Evening Prayer on Wednesday evenings in March at 7 p.m. from Feb. 25 to March 25. Come early for a simple soup supper in Resurrection Hall starting at 5:45 p.m. Sign-up to help.
Wednesday, April 8, 5 – 6:30 p.m. Help create floral arrangements at Random Acts of Flowers (1057 E 54th St, Indianapolis). Carpool available. Sign up or contact Katie Finnie by Sunday, March 29 to participate. We are also collecting vases in the narthex on Sundays during March.
