Saturday, April 19: Enhance your celebration of the Resurrection by participating in the ancient tradition of the Easter Vigil. We’ll gather in darkness at 9 p.m. to light a new fire, hear of God’s saving acts throughout history, and renew our baptisms.
Friday, April 18, 7 p.m. worship: On Good Friday, our focus shifts to the cross as we remember Jesus’ death – and also his victory over sin and death. The nursery will also be available for those with children.
Thursday, April 17, 7 p.m. worship: Taking its name from the Latin word for “commandment”, Maundy Thursday focuses on Jesus’ command that we love one another and on his gift of Holy Communion.
Sunday, April 13, 8:15 & 10:45 a.m. worship: On Palm Sunday, we shout ‘Hosanna!’, wave palm fronds, and remember Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. A livestream of the 10:45 a.m. worship will be available at rlcindy.org/live.
Lent begins with Ash Wednesday worship on March 5 at 7 p.m. and includes Holy Communion and the imposition of ashes for those who desire it. Continue with us throughout Lent on Wednesday evenings with Holden Evening Prayer at 7 p.m.
Sundays Feb. 2 & Feb. 9, 9:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall: Worship is the first place where Christian faith meets life, the most common arena for putting our faith into practice. It follows that the assumptions and habits of worship will shape the assumptions and habits of our lives.
