Another successful school year comes to an end for Resurrection’s Weekender Backpack Ministry. Some of Resurrection’s young people gathered during Learning Hour on Sunday, May 8 to pack the last week of sacks. Over 11,000 sacks of food and 960 jars of peanut butter have been distributed this school year—a record for this ministry!
The Resurrection Weekender Backpack Ministry needs your donations to support the largest number of children served in this ministry’s history. Please consider supporting this ministry by participating in a variety of donation opportunities.
Resurrection joined efforts with Perry Township Schools and Douglas MacArthur Kindergarten Academy (DMKA) to help students, their families, and other residents at the Capital Place apartment complex after water was shut off to the complex.
