Resurrection’s Weekender Backpack Ministry is collecting 16-28 oz. plastic jars of peanut butter to send home with students over fall break. Drop off peanut butter in the Breadbox, in the church narthex, or ship directly to Resurrection
Help fill the shelves in the Resurrection Breadbox to support Hunger, Inc., a nearby pantry serving Perry Township and Beech Grove. Donations of elbow macaroni, spaghetti, and white long-grain rice are always needed for Second Helpings.

Help decorate the Resurrection sanctuary with flowers this Easter! To donate flowers, sign-up online or in the church narthex by Sunday, March 12. Flowers are potted and are yours to keep after Easter Sunday.
Resurrection is collecting vases for Random Acts of Flowers of Indianapolis for use in creating and delivering bouquets to people in local healthcare facilities who might otherwise never receive a visitor. Drop off vase donations at Resurrection by Saturday, March 4.
Give back this Advent season with Resurrection’s Sharing Wreath! The Sharing Wreath provides gifts for 40 children from 19 families at Douglas MacArthur Kindergarten Academy. Please wrap gifts, label with the family and child information, and return to church by Sunday, Dec. 11.
Donate to the Weekender Backpack Ministry to provide a $5 scholastic book for each child this Christmas. Donation envelopes are available in the church narthex. Weekender is also continuing to collect 16-28 oz. plastic jars of peanut butter for winter break.
Here’s a great (and easy) way to share with those in need this holiday season! Do a Reverse Advent Calendar by adding a food item to a box each day starting on Dec. 1, then place the items in Resurrection’s Breadbox on Christmas Eve.
