Blessing of the Animals

Sunday, Oct. 5, 4:30 p.m. Celebrate all God’s creatures with Resurrection’s outdoor Blessing of the Animals in the church parking lot. This blessing is the day after the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, a Christian saint remembered for his love of nature. Bring your animal companions (children’s stuffies welcome, too) for this short service and blessing. Live animals must remain in adult control at all times.
