This Lent, for six weeks starting the week of March 6, Resurrection small groups will discuss The Heart of It All: The Bible’s Big Picture by Sam Wells. Sign-up now for a small group time and order a copy of the book in preparation.
Pastor Ryan is leading a discussion of the book “I’m Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness” by Austin Channing Brown. There are two Zoom options offered: Sundays at 10:30 a.m. or Mondays at 6 p.m. Discussions begin July 12 and 13.
Sunday, Jan. 12 at 9:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall, Professor Peter J. Thuesen, shares insight about the role of the Bible in American culture as detailed in “The Bible in American Life” book, which he co-edited.
Mondays, May 6, 13 and 20 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., Pastor Ryan will lead an informal discussion of the provocative book, “Shameless: A Sexual Reformation” by ELCA pastor and best-selling author, Nadia Bolz-Weber.
