Franklin Central Choir Sings at Resurrection

Sunday, Dec. 5 at 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. Resurrection is excited to welcome again the Franklin Central Chamber Choir to enrich our worship with their refined musical gifts. Prior to the pandemic, it had become an annual tradition for the group to sing with and for us during the season of Advent. It is a special joy to renew that tradition in 2021.

Chamber Choir is Franklin Central’s premier mixed concert choir consisting of 30 singers. Performing the most demanding literature, last year Chamber Choir was honored to be named Grand Champion at Pike MusicFest, Grand Champion at Brownsburg Bulldog Spectacular with the caption of “Best Tenor Section”.  Combining with FC Singers, Chamber Choir is a consistent state finalist and were named the Concert Choir State Champion in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2019.

The choir is directed by Resurrection member, Andrew Knaup, and Resurrection’s organist, David Duncan, is a staff accompanist and arranger for Franklin Central choirs. Several students from Resurrection have sung in Chamber Choir over the years.

You won’t want to miss this opportunity to revel in song.
