Knit & Crochet Group Makes Winter Hats for Kindergartners

The Resurrection Knit and Crochet group made over 240 winter hats for the students at Douglas MacArthur Kindergarten Academy (DMKA). Each child chose their new hat just before winter break—now an annual tradition at DMKA! The kindness of the Knit and Crochet group inspired one kindergartner, Violet, to make them cards during an activity at her Girl Scout meeting. See photos (below) of happy recipients with their new hats and Violet’s very special card.

Thanks to Resurrection’s Knit and Crochet group for the hard work and love that went into making the hats. What a great way to Be Christ Within our Community!
