Mark the start of the 2023-24 school year with a Back-to-School Blessing at Resurrection during worship at 10 a.m. on Sunday, July 30. Students of all ages and educators are invited to bring a backpack, lunchbox, laptop bag, etc. for a special blessing.
A common Epiphany tradition is to “chalk the door” and bless a living space at the start of the new year. Pick up a small Epiphany blessing kit during worship on Sundays Jan. 2 or Jan. 9.
During the time after Epiphany, we hear stories from the beginning of Jesus’ ministry. We also hear stories about those who followed him. What does it look like for us to walk along with Jesus? Join us each week as we explore activities and practices we can do together as we walk with Jesus in the coming year. Bless is our theme for this week’s video.
In this special Mid-Week Mini Message, Victoria Hoppes shares the Epiphany practice of “chalking the door” and blessing our homes for the start of 2021. Grab some chalk and invite the members of your household to bless your home together.
