LOMIK Solar Eclipse Festival Volunteers
Want to experience the 2024 solar eclipse and help out at a great camp? Sign up to volunteer (limited slots available) for the Lutheran Outdoor Ministries of Indiana and Kentucky (LOMIK) Solar Eclipse Festival. The festival, Saturday, April 6 – Monday, April 8, offers daily activities, live music, good food, and great times with lodging options and transportation between locations. Volunteers get a free t-shirt that will distinguish them as a volunteer, a free meal while they are working, and if volunteering for more than a day, complimentary lodging.

- Driving shuttle vans
- Cleaning bathrooms & public areas
- Working info booth and/or camp store
- Working the first aid station
- Leading crafts
- Leading games
- Leading hikes
- Leading camp tours
- Assisting with boating
- Leading yoga
- Building campfires
- Directing traffic
- Face painting and hair wrapping
- Being a security presence
- Setting up prior to Sat, April 6 (i.e. cleaning, setting up tables & chairs, painting parking lines, etc.)
- Tearing down & cleaning, Mon, April 9 and later (i.e. cleaning buildings, tearing down tables & chairs, writing thank you notes, etc.)
