Interested in serving our community during this difficult time? Second Helpings provides meals to thousands of our neighbors in need each day, and that need is growing due to the impact of COVID-19. Second Helpings needs people to join their on-call volunteer waitlist.
As an on-call volunteer you might be called upon to make sandwiches on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening at Second Helpings (1121 Southeastern Ave, Indianapolis). Volunteers are currently making over 1,500 sandwiches daily! Listen as Second Helpings Director of Volunteer Services, Adriane Rios, explains how they are using this emergency volunteer waitlist.
