Due to updated guidelines regarding COVID-19, Resurrection’s Friday free Community Meals ministry will provide 100% carry-out meals for the foreseeable future. All items will be served curbside and packed in single-serve containers for distribution.
Gather with us Sunday, Oct. 13 for Bread for the World Sunday when Resurrection joins other congregations in offering prayers for those who suffer from hunger in our own country and abroad.
Donations to the Food Pantry Ministry in September will be given to Hunger Inc. in Perry Township. Hunger Inc. is open three times a week and helps individuals and families who are food challenged in Perry township and Beech Grove.
Food donations in August will be given to Emmaus Lutheran Church in Fountain Square. They serve the families in the area southeast of Fountain Square.
Donations in July will be given to IPS Eleanor Skillen School #34 food pantry. The school helps 25 families once a month with a box of food which includes canned vegetables, cereal, pasta sauce & pasta, soup, toilet tissue, soap, peanut butter & jelly, eggs, milk and bread.

Register online and join us for a day of service at Midwest Food Bank (6450 S. Belmont St., Indianapolis) on Saturday, Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Join us for Discipleship Hour on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 9:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall to learn about Midwest Food Bank and the wonderful work they are doing!
