Resurrection’s FaithBuilders and Youth Group begin regular every other week gatherings starting Sunday, Sep. 13. Gathering on Zoom for our first meeting, FaithBuilders (grades 6-8) meets from 5-6:15 p.m., and the Youth Group (grades 9-12) meets from 6-7:15 p.m.
Enjoy these photos from RLC’s Youth Group Pilgrimage trip to the Ozark National Scenic Riverways from June 20-27. They canoed and kayaked almost 30 miles, hiked, camped, and engaged in nightly conversations about the ways they experienced the sacred and holy in the wilderness.
All students in FaithBuilders and Youth Group are invited to participate in a joint Zoom session Sunday, May 3 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. We’ll check in with each other, talk about what’s going on, and end our night together in prayer.
FaithBuilders and Youth Group are unable to meet in-person for our final Breakfast Club of the school year, so we’ll meet on Zoom instead. All youth in grades 6-12 are invited for Virtual Breakfast Club, Saturday, April 25 at 10 a.m.
Saturday, March 7, RLC’s Youth Group (grades 9-12) is meeting for a morning of fellowship at Main Event (4016 E 82nd St, Indianapolis, IN). Gather at RLC at 9 a.m. to carpool, or meet us at Main Event at 9:45 a.m.
Support RLC’s Youth Summer Pilgrimage to the Ozarks and order pizza online by Thursday, Feb. 6. Pizzas will be ready for pick-up on Sunday, Feb. 9 after each worship service.
The Congregation Council voted unanimously to extend an offer of employment to Victoria Hoppes as our Director of Youth & Children’s Ministries. Victoria accepted with enthusiasm and begins her ministry among us Monday, Jan. 6.
Students in grades 6-12 are invited to a lock-in at Resurrection starting Saturday, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. Bring your favorite snacks and/or drinks to share and enjoy games, movies and a fun night with other RLC youth.
Saturday, June 22, sixteen RLC Youth high school students flew to Puerto Rico to spend a week helping with ongoing work of hurricane recovery. Group 3 included five youth accompanied by faith mentors Natashia George and Brad Condon.
