This spring, Resurrection member Patty Sorenson became co-leader of a Habitat for Humanity Women Build Team, building a Dream House Diva team of 13 women including three other Resurrection members, Molly Laut, Victoria Hoppes, and Danita Forgey.

Resurrection is collecting clear glass vases 12-16 inches in height for Random Acts of Flowers of Indianapolis for use in creating and delivering bouquets to people in assisted living, nursing homes, and local hospitals. Drop off vase donations in the church narthex collection box by Sunday, March 17.
A Pride team for 2024 is forming now! In previous years, Resurrection has proudly staffed a booth at Greenwood Pride and walked in the Indy Pride Parade. Come for a kickoff meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. in Room 9 to discuss plans for 2024 including logistics and budgeting.
Saturday, Jan. 13, 10 a.m. at Friedens United Church of Christ (8300 S Meridian St, Indianapolis): Hunger is increasing dramatically, and big picture actions are needed. Come explore the systemic issues contributing to food insecurity with Ending Hunger 101: Changing the Systems.
School Uniform Supplies Needed: The clinic at Douglas MacArthur Kindergarten Academy keeps extra uniform supplies on hand to give to students in need. They would appreciate donations of pants in sizes 5, 6, and 7. Drop donations at the church office.
Resurrection celebrates nine consecutive years of serving free Friday Community Meals! For the upcoming holiday season, we are collecting $5 or $10 gift cards and small non-perishable gift items/snacks to create 45+ gift bags for our guests.
