New volunteers are needed to support Resurrection’s free Friday community meal from 5:30-7 p.m. Volunteers are needed for the first Friday crew (once per month) and the fifth Friday crew (approximately once per quarter).

This spring, Resurrection member Patty Sorenson became co-leader of a Habitat for Humanity Women Build Team, building a Dream House Diva team of 13 women including three other Resurrection members, Molly Laut, Victoria Hoppes, and Danita Forgey.
Thursday, April 4, 10 a.m. – noon: Help create floral arrangements at Random Acts of Flowers (1057 E 54th St, Indianapolis) with lunch to follow. There are 10 available volunteer spots. Carpool meets at 9:15 a.m. in Resurrection’s parking lot. Contact Katie Finnie to participate.
Resurrection is collecting clear glass vases 12-16 inches in height for Random Acts of Flowers of Indianapolis for use in creating and delivering bouquets to people in assisted living, nursing homes, and local hospitals. Drop off vase donations in the church narthex collection box by Sunday, March 17.
