Save the Date for RLC's Shred & Spread Thrivent Shredding Event on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 10 a.m. - noon

RLC member, Scott Poore, and his Thrivent team are hosting an outdoor paper shredding event at RLC Saturday, Dec. 11 from 10 a.m – noon to benefit RLC’s Weekender Backpack Ministry. Includes free onsite shredding, refreshments, and a chance to win a Thrivent Action Team gift card. Please bring a donation of 16 oz. jars of peanut butter.

Sunday, Nov. 14 at 9:30 a.m.: Life in community is part of God’s vision for one and all, but it’s not always easy and it doesn’t come about by accident. This discussion-based session includes conversation about the value and challenges of life together and prompts each of us to think about what we bring to community.

Together we will continue conversations about racial injustice, fighting for the voiceless and oppressed, and living antiracism in our daily lives.




Local Impact of Resurrection’s Christ in the Community Budget

Each year Resurrection’s Christ in the Community budget includes funds to support our partnership with Douglas MacArthur Kindergarten Academy. The funds were used to help DMKA classroom teachers purchase supplies for their students and to also purchase classroom furniture for local non-profit, Hope for Tomorrow, to use in their after-school second grade classroom.
