Join the pastors this fall on Sunday mornings for a new series exploring Martin Luther’s Small Catechism. Each week includes a short video and guided discussion. All are welcome—no prep needed, come as you’re able.
Sunday, Dec. 14, 7 p.m. The holidays are not the most wonderful time of the year for everyone and can bring a mixed bag of emotions. This quiet, contemplative worship service offers sacred space for those who wish to mark the coming of Christ in a quieter, more contemplative way.
RLC’s Men’s Breakfast ministry offers a welcoming space for adult men of all ages to connect over breakfast and engage in fellowship and the empowering Word of God. We meet monthly every third Saturday at 8 a.m. Register to receive updates and reminders.
Meets monthly, second Thursday, 6 p.m. in Room 9: Moms of all ages, come meet and build relationships with other RLC parents and explore and learn about different parenting topics and books! Refreshments provided. We meet monthly from September through April.
Wednesday, Dec. 3: The O.W.L.s (Older Wiser Lutherans) are celebrating the holidays at Napoli Villa Italian Restaurant (758 Main St, Beech Grove, IN). Carpool meets at Resurrection at 11:15 a.m., or meet at the restaurant at noon. Contact Joy Bodine by Monday, Dec. 1 to confirm your plans.
Thursday, Dec. 18, 6:30 p.m. Invite your friends and come celebrate the season with neighbors in song. All of Resurrection’s music ensembles will be featured in this service. Cookies and cocoa to follow, hosted by the Fellowship Group.
Help RLC care for our neighbors. When neighbors visit the church office seeking financial assistance, we offer gas and grocery gift cards through our Caring Neighbor fund. To give to this fund, simply note “Caring Neighbor” on your check or envelope, or select it from the online giving drop-down menu.
Register your household by Monday, Nov. 24 to guarantee a devotional and supplies to create your own Advent wreath. Choose either to pick up supplies and assemble your wreath on Sunday, Nov. 30 during the 9:30 a.m. learning hour or to receive a kit to complete all activities at home.
Donate red poinsettias, $10/each, to adorn Resurrection’s sanctuary and narthex this Christmas. Poinsettias can be ordered in memory or in honor of someone. Order in the church narthex or online by Tuesday, Nov. 18.
