Sunday, Dec. 15, 2-3 p.m.: Kids in kindergarten through fifth grade: Come for the Kids Club Christmas cookie party with residents at Green Park Terrace senior apartments. We will decorate cookies and do other Christmas activities together. Please RSVP to help us plan and to receive the meeting address.
Will you use up rolls of wrapping paper during this holiday season? If so, bring the empty tubes to church! We are collecting large cardboard tubes for use in our children’s ministry programming during 2025. Donations can be dropped off at the church office (large/long tubes only, please).
Sign-up by Wednesday, Nov. 27 to receive a devotion book, DIY Advent ornament set, and supplies to create your own Advent wreath. Choose either to pick up materials and make an Advent wreath on Sunday, Dec. 1 during the 9:30 a.m. Learning Hour or to receive a kit to complete all activities at home.
Resurrection’s annual Trunk or Treat is Sunday, Oct. 27 from 3-5 p.m. No sign-up required to attend event. Help us prepare: donate bags of candy in the church narthex collection box and sign-up online to decorate a trunk.
Saturday, Nov. 9, 10 a.m. in Resurrection Hall: All kids ages birth through preschool are invited to our fall Youngest Friends Club meeting with crafts, games, and a snack! Please RSVP so we have enough for everyone.
Come sing or ring with Resurrection’s music groups! Weekly Wednesday evening rehearsals begin Sep. 11: Children’s Choirs from 5-5:30 p.m.; Grace Notes Bell Choir from 6-7 p.m.; Sanctuary Choir from 7-8:15 p.m.
As we begin a new program year, please help us update your child or youth’s information and release forms for the 2024-2025 school year. Please fill out one form per child/youth participating in nursery, children’s ministry, or youth ministry activities during the school year.
Sunday, Aug. 4, 4-6 p.m. Youngest Friends Club and Kids Club (birth-5th grade) and their families: Celebrate the start of school with your Resurrection friends! Come to the Mueller’s backyard for a picnic and water games.
Mark the start of the 2024-25 school year with a Back-to-School Blessing at Resurrection during worship at 10 a.m. on Sunday, August 4. Students of all ages and educators are invited to come and receive a blessing.
Help us grow RLC Kids! We’ve seen increased attendance during Learning Hour in the last year, and we’re in need of additional teachers and mentors for our children’s ministry. We’re specifically looking for adults to co-teach and/or occasionally serve as substitute teachers during the 2024-2025 program year.
