Weekender Backpack Ministry Update
The first semester of the 2025-26 school year was a tremendous success for Weekender, providing nearly 4,000 food sacks to local students. Support expanded at Northeast Elementary and Perry Meridian 6th Grade Academy, and nearly 600 jars of peanut butter and 400 additional sacks were distributed during fall and winter break.
Pack Away Hunger Event
Save the date and sign up by Wednesday, Oct. 29 to help with Resurrection’s Pack Away Hunger packing event on Saturday, Nov. 1, 9-11:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall. Sign up online or contact Morgan Tatum for more information.
Donate Peanut Butter for Weekender Backpack Ministry
Resurrection’s Weekender Backpack Ministry is collecting 16-28 oz. plastic jars of peanut butter to send home with students over fall break. Drop off peanut butter in the Breadbox, in the church narthex, or ship directly to Resurrection
