Help decorate the Resurrection sanctuary with flowers this Easter! To donate flowers, sign-up online or in the church narthex by Friday, March 21. Flowers are potted and are yours to keep after Easter Sunday.
Help create an Alaskan wilderness for True North VBS! “Adopt a prop” and pick up a kit in the church narthex to help make decorating items. Kits contain projects for different skill levels. Instructions and most supplies are included. Return completed props by Sunday, April 6.
Sunday, March 2, 9:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall: Come learn about how Resurrection is participating in Pride during 2025! Get details on how you can help share an RLC Pride message with our local community, including opportunities to help with Resurrection’s booth at Greenwood Pride on Saturday, June 7!
New volunteers are needed to support Resurrection’s free Friday community meal from 5:30-7 p.m. Volunteers are needed for the first Friday crew (once per month) and the fifth Friday crew (approximately once per quarter).
Lent begins with Ash Wednesday worship on March 5 at 7 p.m. and includes Holy Communion and the imposition of ashes for those who desire it. Continue with us throughout Lent on Wednesday evenings with Holden Evening Prayer at 7 p.m.
Sundays Feb. 2 & Feb. 9, 9:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall: Worship is the first place where Christian faith meets life, the most common arena for putting our faith into practice. It follows that the assumptions and habits of worship will shape the assumptions and habits of our lives.
Sunday, Feb. 23: Resurrection Lutheran Church welcomes Bishop Tim Graham, elected at the Synod Assembly on June 9, as our new Indiana Kentucky ELCA Synod bishop. A reception brunch in Resurrection Hall at 9:30 a.m. will be followed by a meet-and-greet and Q&A session. If you have a question you would like us to ask the bishop, talk to Pr. Kathy. Sign up to bring brunch items or help with setup/cleanup.
We’re seeking current and retired professionals willing to share professional experience and knowledge with RLC’s high school youth and college-aged adults. Your experience can make a difference by offering guidance, sharing career insights, providing networking opportunities, and helping with internship or job leads.
