Resurrection’s WELCA annual bake sale is Sunday, Dec. 15 starting at 9 a.m. Pick up tasty holiday treats and help support WELCA Global Ministries, local mission projects, and disaster relief.
Sign-up for to participate in the kickoff meeting of the South Central Creation Care Network, a collective team of congregations and community members focused on caring for the earth, God’s creation.
Sign up by Wednesday, Oct. 16 to join Resurrection people for a Prayer Journey on Saturday, Oct. 19 hosted by Ascent 121. The Prayer Journey is an opportunity to drive through the near east side of Indianapolis and pray for areas affected by trafficking and exploitation.
Gather with us Sunday, Oct. 13 for Bread for the World Sunday when Resurrection joins other congregations in offering prayers for those who suffer from hunger in our own country and abroad.
Donations to the Food Pantry Ministry in September will be given to Hunger Inc. in Perry Township. Hunger Inc. is open three times a week and helps individuals and families who are food challenged in Perry township and Beech Grove.
Donate new or gently used bras and drop off in the parish narthex (in the basket under the poster) by Wednesday, Sept. 11. Donated bras will be taken to the IK-WELCA Biennial Convention on Friday Sept. 13 for Free the Girls to help formerly trafficked women start new lives.
The staff of Douglas MacArthur Kindergarten Academy (DMKA) are hosting an open house for Resurrection people on Sunday, Aug. 25, from 11 a.m. – noon as a way to say “thank you” for our partnership.
Come urge Senator Young to end childhood hunger in Indiana with a special event, “A Fair Shot for All Children”, on Thursday, Aug. 22 from 4:15 – 5:45 p.m at Noblesville First United Methodist Church (2051 Monument St, Noblesville)
Food donations in August will be given to Emmaus Lutheran Church in Fountain Square. They serve the families in the area southeast of Fountain Square.
