Donate to the Weekender Backpack Ministry to provide a $5 scholastic book for each child this Christmas. Donation envelopes are available in the church narthex. Weekender is also continuing to collect 16-28 oz. plastic jars of peanut butter for winter break.
Here’s a great (and easy) way to share with those in need this holiday season! Do a Reverse Advent Calendar by adding a food item to a box each day starting on Dec. 1, then place the items in Resurrection’s Breadbox on Christmas Eve.
Looking for a way to serve at Resurrection that is flexible with minimal time commitment to fit your life’s schedule? One or two people are needed to manage collections and distributions for the RLC Breadbox.
Donate pasta! Resurrection is participating in the third annual Gr8 Pasta Push 2022 with Second Helpings and WISH-TV 8, June 2-16. Pasta is critical at Second Helpings where they use about 1,800 pounds every week! Place donations of spaghetti, macaroni, and rice in the Breadbox by Thursday, June 16.
The International Center presents a free Zoom panel discussion on Wednesday, April 27, noon-1 p.m., to discuss Indiana’s grassroots response to the crisis in Ukraine. Sign-up for a Friday during Lent to experience what serving at a free Friday community meal is like. On your selected Friday, a team member will provide a tour of all the tasks involved in the weekly meal. Try out a task by shadowing a team member or just take the tour and enjoy the meal with our guests.
Resurrection joined efforts with Perry Township Schools and Douglas MacArthur Kindergarten Academy (DMKA) to help students, their families, and other residents at the Capital Place apartment complex after water was shut off to the complex.
