Meets monthly, second Thursday, 6 p.m. in Room 9: Moms of all ages, come meet and build relationships with other RLC parents and explore and learn about different parenting topics and books! Refreshments provided. We meet monthly from September through April.
Sunday, April 13, 3-4:15 p.m. Celebrate Easter at Resurrection with an Easter Egg Hunt! All kids ages birth to 5th grade and their families can enjoy an afternoon of egg hunting, crafting, and a snack! Be sure to bring your own basket or container to collect eggs. Please RSVP.
Save the date for Resurrection’s 2025 Vacation Bible School program, Sunday, June 8 – Thursday, June 12! VBS is a week filled with songs, Bible stories, games, crafts, and more for kids ages 3 through elementary school. This year, we’re going on a True North wilderness adventure as we learn how we are followers of Jesus!
Saturday, Feb. 15, 10-11 a.m. Families with kids birth through preschool: Come for a fun morning with the Resurrection Youngest Friends Club at Kid City in Greenwood Community Center (100 Surina Way, Greenwood, IN). Please RSVP to help us plan.
Celebrate Epiphany with a party on Sunday, Jan. 5 at 9:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall! Learn about Epiphany while enjoying fellowship, treats, games, and other activities. At 10 a.m., join in the tradition of “chalking” (or blessing) the doors of our classrooms and program spaces.
Sunday, Dec. 22, 5:15-7:45 p.m. Youth in grades 6-12, come for our Christmas party at RLC! Wear your favorite Christmas pajamas and bring a wrapped gift ($10 or less) for a gift exchange. Sign up if you’d like to contribute finger food for our “snacky dinner” or toppings for a hot cocoa bar.
Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 24: Worship in-person at 5 or 8 p.m. Both worship services include Holy Communion and the traditional singing of Silent Night by candlelight. The nursery will be available for the 5 p.m. service. A livestream at 8 p.m. will be available at rlcindy.org/live.
Give back this season! Last year, RLC provided 75 clothing gifts to 39 children from 15 Douglas MacArthur Kindergarten Academy (DMKA) families. This year, donate time and contact Liz Klimes if you can help create tags (week of Nov. 18), track tag selections on Sundays (Nov. 24, Dec. 1 & 8), and/or organize/deliver gifts for DMKA (Dec. 15 & 16).
Sign-up by Wednesday, Nov. 27 to receive a devotion book, DIY Advent ornament set, and supplies to create your own Advent wreath. Choose either to pick up materials and make an Advent wreath on Sunday, Dec. 1 during the 9:30 a.m. Learning Hour or to receive a kit to complete all activities at home.
