Contact Victoria Hoppes by Sunday, Feb. 15 to register a child for this communion instruction class on Sundays from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Feb. 22, March 1, and March 8. This class is open to children ready to gain a deeper understanding of the sacrament of Holy Communion.

Lent begins with Ash Wednesday worship on Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. Worship includes Holy Communion and the imposition of ashes for those who desire it. Continue with us throughout Lent with simple soup suppers on Wednesday evenings followed by Holden Evening Prayer at 7 p.m.

Sundays Feb. 8 – 22, 9:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall: This timely and challenging series examines Christian nationalism and its influence on state and federal government, while preparing us as a congregation, and as Lutheran citizens, with knowledge and potential actions for this season of our lives together.

Saturday, April 4: Enhance your celebration of the Resurrection by participating in the ancient tradition of the Easter Vigil. We’ll gather in darkness at 9 p.m. to light a new fire, hear of God’s saving acts throughout history, and renew our baptisms.

Sunday, Feb. 8 in Resurrection Hall: Celebrate Pastor Kathy’s ministry at Resurrection on her final Sunday with a pitch-in lunch immediately following the 10:45 a.m. worship service. With love and deep gratitude, we say farewell. Please sign up online or in the church narthex to help with the pitch-in lunch.

Resurrection’s next semi-annual congregation meeting has been moved to Sunday, Feb. 1 at 9:30 a.m. due to severe weather conditions. There will be no Sunday morning learning for adults. The meeting agenda includes the election of Congregation Council members/officers and approval of the 2026 budget.

Due to projected severe weather conditions, Resurrection has canceled 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. worship services and evening youth activities on Sunday, Jan. 25.
