Wednesdays, Dec. 6, 13, and 20 at 5:30 p.m. Pastor Ryan invites you to join him for a simple, brief service of vespers (evening prayer) for three Wednesdays during Advent. Singing will be a cappella, and we’ll gather in Room 9 to pause and ponder the mystery of God coming to us.

Sign-up by Friday, Nov. 24 to receive a devotion book, DIY Advent ornament set, and supplies to create your own Advent wreath. Choose either to pick up materials and make an Advent wreath on Sunday, Nov. 26 during the 9:30 a.m. Learning Hour or to receive a kit to complete all activities at home.

Sunday, Nov. 19, 9:45 a.m. in the Luther Room: On Dec. 3, the first Sunday of Advent, we enter into a new liturgical year where our primary gospel texts come from Mark’s narrative. Pastor Kathy gives an introduction to Mark’s gospel as we begin our journey into year B of the Revised Common Lectionary.

Resurrection’s Knit and Crochet group is meeting on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Resurrection Hall to work on winter hats. Come for any length of time, to pick up yarn, drop off finished hats, or just catch up on projects.
