This year, RLC will provide space at the Greenwood Pride Festival on Saturday, June 7, 12-5 p.m. where people experience an intentional place to belong. Come rest out of the sun, find refreshment with cold water and free cookies, and experience welcome and belonging.
Thursday, May 29, 7 p.m.: On the 40th day of Easter, the church commemorates the ascension of Jesus (Acts 1:3-11). Our 7 p.m. worship service is followed by a reception of appetizers and dessert. To help with the reception, sign up online or contact Jackie Mitchell.
Resurrection’s next semi-annual congregation meeting is Sunday, June 1 immediately following the 10 a.m. worship service. Agenda includes important updates on a variety of topics including the capital campaign.
Sunday, May 4, 3:30 p.m. Joyful Sound, an advanced community handbell choir in Indianapolis, is bringing their spring concert to RLC! Enjoy classics like “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” original handbell compositions like “Transcendent” by Jason Krug, and hits like “For Good” from “Wicked”.
Join Weekender Backpack Ministry in the fight against hunger by packing bags of easy-to-prepare food on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in rooms 5 and 6! Our final packing date of the season is Wednesday, May 14.
