During the season of Lent, gather with Resurrection for the much-loved Holden Evening Prayer on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. from Feb. 21 to March 20. Come early for a simple soup supper in Resurrection Hall starting at 5:45 p.m.
Families with kids birth through preschool: Come for a fun morning with the Resurrection Youngest Friends Club on Saturday, Feb. 24! We’ll meet at 10 a.m. for playtime at Kid City at Greenwood Community Center (100 Surina Way, Greenwood, IN). Please RSVP to help us plan.

A Pride team for 2024 is forming now! In previous years, Resurrection has proudly staffed a booth at Greenwood Pride and walked in the Indy Pride Parade. Come for a kickoff meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. in Room 9 to discuss plans for 2024 including logistics and budgeting.
Sunday, Oct. 31, 9:30 a.m. Learning Hour in Resurrection Hall: Pastor Ryan continues sharing stories and lessons from his recent study tour on the U.S.-Mexico border with the Wabash Pastoral Leadership Program.
Lent begins with Ash Wednesday worship on Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. Worship includes Holy Communion and the imposition of ashes for those who desire it.
Thanks to everyone who supported Resurrection’s Youth Group beignet fundraiser on Sunday, Feb. 11, a wonderful morning filled with fellowship and yummy treats supporting our trip to the 2024 ELCA Youth Gathering! Resurrection’s next semi-annual congregation meeting is Sunday, Jan. 28. We worship at 10 a.m. only, followed by the congregation meeting. There will be no Learning Hour. Those unable to attend in person may participate via Zoom.
Sunday, Feb. 4 is Scout Sunday: The Boy Scouts of America designates the Sunday before Feb. 8 (Scouting Anniversary Day) as Scout Sunday. All Scouts and Scouters are invited to participate by wearing the BSA field uniform to worship at 8:15 or 10:45 a.m.
Sundays Feb. 4, 11, & 18, 9:30 a.m. in Room 1: The My Bible class, typically taken in 3rd grade, introduces kids to the Bible’s narrative, teaches skills for reading and using it, and builds a foundation for reading scripture at home. Contact Victoria Hoppes for details and sign up.
