Sunday, April 19: Kids in kindergarten through fifth grade: Come mini golfing with RLCs Kids Club at Otte Golf (681 Sheek Rd, Greenwood, IN). We’ll meet at Otte Golf at 2 p.m. Please RSVP to help us plan.
Tuesday, April 14: The O.W.L.s (Older Wiser Lutherans) are gathering at 11 a.m. for lunch at Dawson’s on Main in Speedway (1464 N Main St, Indianapolis), followed by a visit to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. Museum. Contact Joy Bodine for carpooling and lunch by Sunday, April 12; prepayment through Joy for tour tickets is due Sunday, April 5.
There is no better way for us to celebrate the gift of new life than by being together! Worship with Resurrection on Easter Sunday, April 5 at 8:15 or 10:45 a.m. and enjoy our Easter Breakfast from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall.
Thursday, April 2, 7 p.m. worship: Taking its name from the Latin word for “commandment”, Maundy Thursday remembers the night our Lord instituted Holy Communion, knelt to wash his disciples’ feet, and gave us the new commandment to love one another.
Friday, April 3, 7 p.m. worship: On Good Friday, our focus shifts to the cross as we remember Jesus’ death – and also his victory over sin and death. Worship concludes with the invitation to remain as long as desired for prayer around the cross.
Sunday, March 29, 8:15 & 10:45 a.m. worship: On Palm Sunday, we shout ‘Hosanna!’, wave palm fronds, and remember Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. Watch a livestream at 10:45 a.m. via rlcindy.org/live.
Sundays March 15 – 29, 9:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall: What does it mean to live fully, held together in Christ? Pastor Ryan leads a discussion of acclaimed spiritual writer Henri Nouwen’s book and explores these themes through the image of a cup. Reading the book is recommended.
During the season of Lent, gather with Resurrection for the much-loved Holden Evening Prayer on Wednesday evenings in March at 7 p.m. from Feb. 25 to March 25. Come early for a simple soup supper in Resurrection Hall starting at 5:45 p.m. Sign-up to help.
