During the season of Lent, gather with Resurrection for the much-loved Holden Evening Prayer on Wednesday evenings in March at 7 p.m. from Feb. 25 to March 25. Come early for a simple soup supper in Resurrection Hall starting at 5:45 p.m. Sign-up to help.
Wednesday, April 8, 5 – 6:30 p.m. Help create floral arrangements at Random Acts of Flowers (1057 E 54th St, Indianapolis). Carpool available. Sign up or contact Katie Finnie by Sunday, March 29 to participate. We are also collecting vases in the narthex on Sundays during March.
Help provide refreshments between Sunday worship services or help with set-up or clean-up. Sign up online for the Sunday(s) you would like to help with. Clean-up is simple and does not involve the coffee clean-up – it just involves removing leftover refreshment items.
The Quiltmakers group meets twice monthly in Resurrection Hall: first Monday, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. and third Tuesday, 6:30—8 p.m. Everyone is welcome, from middle-school to older and wiser, any and all genders! Our next gatherings are Monday, March 2 (11:30 a.m.) and Tuesday, March 17 (6:30 p.m.).
There is no better way for us to celebrate the gift of new life than by being together! Worship with Resurrection on Easter Sunday, April 5 at 8:15 or 10:45 a.m. and enjoy our Easter Breakfast from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. in Resurrection Hall.
Resurrection’s Breadbox needs your donations this March to help refill the shelves and support Hunger, Inc., a nearby pantry serving Perry Township and Beech Grove. Donations of elbow macaroni, spaghetti, and white long-grain rice are always needed for Second Helpings.
Help create a rainforest playground for Rainforest Falls VBS! “Adopt a prop” and pick up a kit in the church narthex to help make decorating items. Kits contain projects for different skill levels. Instructions and most supplies are included. Return completed props by Sunday, April 5.
Resurrection’s Knit/Crochet Group gathers one Saturday each month from 10 a.m. – noon at Resurrection. Anyone is welcome. See scheduled monthly meeting dates.
The first semester of the 2025-26 school year was a tremendous success for Weekender, providing nearly 4,000 food sacks to local students. Support expanded at Northeast Elementary and Perry Meridian 6th Grade Academy, and nearly 600 jars of peanut butter and 400 additional sacks were distributed during fall and winter break.
