Join Weekender Backpack Ministry in the fight against hunger by packing bags of easy-to-prepare food on scheduled dates at 6 p.m. in rooms 5 and 6 at Resurrection Lutheran Church.
The Quiltmakers group meets twice monthly in Resurrection Hall: first Monday, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. and third Tuesday, 6:30—8 p.m. Everyone is welcome, from middle-school to older and wiser, any and all genders! Our next gatherings are Monday, Feb. 2 (11:30 a.m.) and Tuesday, Feb. 17 (6:30 p.m.).
Sunday, Feb. 8 in Resurrection Hall: Celebrate Pastor Kathy’s ministry at Resurrection on her final Sunday with a pitch-in lunch immediately following the 10:45 a.m. worship service. With love and deep gratitude, we say farewell. Please sign up online or in the church narthex to help with the pitch-in lunch.
Help provide refreshments between Sunday worship services or help with set-up or clean-up. Sign up online for the Sunday(s) you would like to help with. Clean-up is simple and does not involve the coffee clean-up – it just involves removing leftover refreshment items.

Resurrection’s Knit/Crochet Group gathers one Saturday each month from 10 a.m. – noon at Resurrection. Anyone is welcome. Our next gathering is Saturday, Nov. 8.
In preparation for the return of our learning hour in September, we need additional teachers and mentors to work with our young people during the 2025-26 program year. We are specifically looking for adults to co-teach and/or occasionally serve as substitutes on Sunday mornings.
This summer, help Resurrection provide hospitality on Sunday mornings! Bake cookies in advance or bring boxes of crackers and cheese slices – just drop-off labeled donations in the church kitchen and we’ll freeze/store until needed!
Interested in sharing Holy Communion with those unable to attend worship? You are invited to serve as a home communion minister, bringing communion to 1–2 people each month. To volunteer or learn more, contact Dick Benjamin or Pastor Ryan to schedule a brief training.
